A gaga pit gives an OSHC service a defined activity area that can be planned into an existing outdoor program. The standard octagon is approximately 5.8 m across, with eight 2.4 m sides. Allow approximately 1.5 m of clear space around it for movement, entry and educator visibility.
Grass, mulch, compacted gravel or synthetic grass may suit when the area is level, drained and prepared appropriately. There is no permanent foundation, but the service must assess the particular site and follow its own risk, supervision and incident procedures.

Choose the kit height and quantity on the quick quote form. You receive a numbered PDF quote valid for 30 days, with the ABN, total and free delivery. Use the number as the reference on a purchase order, then email the PO to gagapitkits.australia@gmail.com. Organisation orders use 30-day terms.
Bank transfer and card payment are also available. The kit is delivered free Australia-wide, typically 5–10 business days from dispatch. The approval pack summarises what is included, the timber counts, site allowance and inspection points for a service manager or committee.

The founder is a father and school teacher who designed, engineered and makes the galvanised steel corner brackets in Victoria. The product is built around a clear timber list and printed instructions so an organisation can plan the work with its own staff, contractor or local tradesperson.

Practical questions for the service team.
How much time should we allow for assembly?
Allow most of a day for two people, using basic tools and the printed instructions. Include time for site preparation and final checks.
What is supplied?
Eight galvanised steel corner brackets, galvanised bolts and hardware, printed build instructions and a timber shopping list. Timber, ground surfacing, tools, labour and a ball are not included.
What checks are part of ongoing use?
Check the edges and fixings before use, keep the area clear, supervise in line with service policy and inspect the fixings and timber periodically.
Can the service order more than one?
Yes. Select the quantity on the instant quote form so the approval document reflects the planned number of pits.
